Erasmus+ RMT

On the 13 and 14 October 2015, a conference was held for the recognition of skills and employability in Europe, organised by three European Erasmus + agencies from Belgium, France and Luxembourg. The aim was to come together and produce a review of European tools for employability. This is because the acquisition of skills, identifying and highlighting them during a job interview is more than ever a passport to employment. The findings from this conference will be brought to the attention of national and community decision-makers. A synthesis, prepared by EurActiv, is available by clicking here.

The outcomes of the workshop on “International mobility, employability and cross-curricular skills’ are aligned to the thematic of the Erasmus + RMT project: how to capitalise on the experiences of transnational mobility for people in career transition; how to bring the existing monitoring and guidance tools up to date? The project also seeks to highlight the role of European businesses that are too often absent from impact studies by asking the about their perception of this type of mobility and its added value to their recruitment policy.
